Very quickly who is Snapcart?
Snapcart is an Indonesia startup founded in 2015 providing offline data solutions to help businesses gather customers insights from receipts.
It operates a mobile application that gives you cashback for scanning their receipts while they collect purchase data and offer to brands information of shopping habits.
Snapcart's clients include P&G, Unilever and Nestle which are all giant players in consumer products
Earn money from YOUR grocery receipt!
As a user, simply by snapping receipts into the app, you can receive money ranging from $0.05 to $1.00 depending on your spending per receipts.
Previously this was only available in the Philippines and Indonesia.
It expanded to Singapore recently on 1 February 2018 and I have been using it since.
By end of December2018, I managed to cash out $30.00 with 190 receipts.
What type of receipts does Snapcart accept?
– Groceries : NTUC Fairprice, Sheng Siong, Cold Storage, Giants and etc.
– Medicine – Wastons, Guardian and etc
– Cosmetics – Sephora, Etudehouse and etc
Every day you can upload a maximum of 3 receipts and up to 3 days ago.
I'm sure you shop at these outlets.
You can even use your parent's receipts!

How much can YOU earn?
It all depends on your receipts.
The higher the total value of the receipt the higher cashback you get.
I personally think that the $70 receipt is pretty easy to hit and earn $0.80.
Some milk power from NTUC would suffice!
Tips and tricks for faster receipt verification
These recommendations are from Snapcart directly.
My first upload didn't go through because it wasn't snapped to their satisfaction.
They can be quite strict on it.
I suggest to keep the first receipt until it has been confirmed as accepted before you throw it away.
Levelling Up
You will start from Regular and slowly moving to Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Snap receipts regularly to level up and get more cash for each receipt you snap.
